Daniel Jacob Shirley, age 39

Daniel Jacob Shirley, age 39 of, Forest City, NC passed away Friday, August 1, 2014. 

He was born February 5, 1975 in Henderson County and was a son of Alice S. Carson of Ellenboro and the late Earl Shirley. Daniel was a tree cutter by trade.

In addition to his mother he is survived by a brother, Junior Wood of Alamo, TN, sisters, Nanci Wood of Gainesville, FL, Judy Halford of E. Flat Rock, NC, Rachael Shannon of Green Creek, NC and Alicia Shirley Burnette of Forest City.

Funeral services were held at Trinity Wesleyan Church with Reverend Larry Segers officiating. Interment followed in the Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
