Darwin Hayes "Mountain Man" Royal, age 84

Darwin Hayes "Mountain Man" Royal, age 84, of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017.

He was a native of Eatonton, GA and the son of the late William Hayes Royal and the late Nancy Thelma Teat Royal. "Mountain Man" was an avid fisherman and never met a stranger.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years Catherine Kelly Royal. Three Daughters: Cathe Graves and husband Bob of San Antonio, TX. Nance Bryant of Forest City. Liz Segers and husband James of Forest City. One Son: Dan Royal of Forest City. twelve grandchildren, thirty four great-grandchildren, sixteen great great grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at Cornerstone Fellowship Church with Reverend Mike Deese officiating. Interment was held at the Royal Family Cemetery.
