Deadline for golf tourney Oct. 20

Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity's "Holes for Houses" Charity Golf Tournament will be held Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, at Meadowbrook Golf Club.

The tournament will begin at 12:30 p.m. with a shotgun start. Players make up their own foursome or tournament officials may make up a foursome if requested. Players are to list their verified USGA handicap index or use the normal average score per rounds played. Mens and women's divisions available, captain's choice. First and second place prizes awarded.

Entry fee is $50 per play, which includes golf, cart free, pre-tournament meal and a raffle ticket. There will also be complimentary drinks and snack offered on course. Mulligan package for $35 consists of eight mulligans, four red tees and one "gimmie" per team.

Deadline for entries is Oct. 20 at 5 p.m. Mail checks and registration form (available online) to Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity, P.O. Box 1534, Rutherfordton, NC 28139. All tournament proceeds will go toward building Habitat Houses in 2016.
