Deanya B. Pruett, age 86

Deanya B. Pruett, age 86, formerly of Boiling Springs, passed away Friday, August 11, 2017.

Born August 26, 1930 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Colin and Zeta Bridges. She worked for Dover Mills for many years and was a past member of Race Path Baptist Church. Deanya loved traveling and was an excellent seamstress.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of over thirty years, Forrest Donald McSwain and her second husband of thirty-five years, Donald Pruett; one daughter, Donna McSwain Wyatt and two brothers, Jim Bridges and Larry Bridges.

Those left to cherish her memory include one brother, John "Pete" Bridges and wife, Barbara of Ellenboro; sister, Peggy Smith of Shelby; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was conducted at Cleveland Memorial Park with Reverend Lanny J. Funchess officiating.

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
