Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Bailey Hollifield, 56

Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Bailey Hollifield, 56, of Rutherfordton, passed away on Tuesday, April 01, 2014.

  She was a native of Rutherford County and daughter of Lillian Jane Copenhaver of Kings Mountain, NC and the late Theron Columbus Bailey, Jr. of Bostic, NC.  She was a graduate of Appalachian State and worked as a Continuing Education Coordinator at Isothermal Community College.  Debbie was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church. 

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Morris Hollifield, children, Tamarah-Jean Michelle Hill and Jason Michael Hill, grandchild Ethan Jonah Smith and brother Cris Bailey; stepmother Linda Bailey of Bostic, NC.

A memorial was held at St. Francis Episcopal Church with Rev. Christine Fair Beebe officiating.  

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
