Deborah Splawn White, age 57

Deborah Splawn White, age 57, of Spring, Texas, passed away Friday, December 6, 2013.

Born April 30, 1956 in Rutherford County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Eugene Splawn and Naomi Mitchell Splawn. 

Survivors include her daughter, Melissa Gilbert of Blacksburg, SC; two sisters, Arlene Smith and husband, Mike of Rutherfordton and Tonya Foster and husband, Barney of the Shiloh Community.  She is also survived by three grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank Mike Mauro, a long time friend and caregiver, for his love, sacrifice and compassion toward Deborah. 

A graveside service was conducted at the Holly Springs Baptist Cemetery with Reverend Wesley Smith officiating.
