Delores Mote Hayes, 88

Delores Mote Hayes, 88, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018.

She was born to the late David and Edna Bright Mote on September 29, 1929 in Gastonia, NC. She is also predeceased by her husband, Howard A. Hayes; one son, Chris Allen Hayes; one sibling, Geneva Mote Skinner.

Delores leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughters, Donna Sutton and husband Pete, Jr. of Shelby and Starla R. Hayes of Lecanto, FL; son, Tracy G. Hayes of Conyers, GA; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Delores attended Christ the King Church, Shelby, NC. She enjoyed birdhouses, singing, sewing, crafts and being around family. She loved National Geographic's. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

A funeral service was held at Bethel Christian Church in Conyers, GA. Pastor Vernon Moore and Pastor Ken Stokes, Sr officiated.

Arrangements were entrusted to Robert Morgan Funeral Service, LLC of Boiling Springs, NC.
