Detective Julie Greene receives North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation Western District Partnership Award

Rutherford County Sheriff's Detective Julie Greene is the 2016 recipient of the prestigious North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation Western District Partnership Award.

Assistant Special Agent in Charge Casey Drake and Special Agent in Charge Jim Schandevel presented the award to Det. Greene recently at a ceremony held in Asheville, NC.

N.C.S.B.I. agents in the western district nominated Det. Greene to receive the award.

"The award is presented annually to a law enforcement partner who understands the importance of team work and truth finding. The recipient of the award has demonstrated their willingness to combine all the necessary resources to solve crimes, protect the public and become an advocate of justice."
