Dever Lane Pinson, 94, a resident of Willow Ridge Nursing Center, Rutherfordton, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2011.
A native of Rutherford County, born on October 27, 1917, a son of the late John and Pearl Pritchard Pinson.
He was retired from Spindale Mills and was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in WWII and receiving 5 Bronze Stars.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Rossie Pinson and his second wife, Jewell Odom Pinson. He is survived by his care-giver, Louisa Price of Ellenboro.
