Diane Henson, age 66

Diane Henson, age 66, of Mooresboro, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018.

Born February 28, 1952 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Moore and Nellie Scruggs Moore. She was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1969 and worked for Cone Mills-Cliffside Plant for over twenty years. Diane was a member of Goodes Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed watching Soap Operas and playing bingo. She was a dedicated wife and mother who especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Bob and Vernon Moore; two sisters, Kathy Moore Harris and Mary Helen Moore and sister-in-law, Joann Moore.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of forty-eight years, Jr. Henson; two daughters, Kimberly Henson and Crissy Biddy both of Cliffside; one son, Jody Henson also of Cliffside; two brothers, Vic Moore and wife, Carolyn of Mooresboro and Jimmy Moore of Forest City; four grandsons, and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by special friends of the family, the White family and Kathy Luckadoo Ross and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Rev Sam Henderson and Rev Jody Henson officiated. Interment followed at Cliffside Cemetery with Rev Chad Hayes in charge of the committal service.
