Dolly Wishon, age 80

Dolly Wishon, age 80, of Spindale, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020.

Dolly was born April 12, 1940 in Rutherford County to the late Keith Crain and Rody Byers Crain.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Wishon; stepmother, Rose Crain; daughter, Donna Jones; three sisters, Josephine Smith, Tiney Starnes, Jerry Overtine and two brothers, Jack Crain and Lynburd Byers.

Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Gail Crawford (Steve) of Forest City and Cindy Mode of Spindale; a son, Sammy Wishon (Donna Owens) of Forest City; brother, Sammy Newton of Forest City; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Interment followed in Rutherfordton City Cemetery.
