Don Fauntleroy Doggett, 93

Don Fauntleroy Doggett, 93, of Marion, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018.

A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Charlie and Della Vickers Doggett. He was a carpenter and a 32^nd Degree Mason. Don was a US Army veteran of WWII and a POW. He was loved as if a member of First Baptist Church of Marion.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Juanita Doggett and Margaret Stevens and husband Randy; one grandson; one great granddaughter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys B. Doggett and brothers, Spence Doggett and Walton Doggett.

Graveside services were held at Eternal Hills Memorial Park, Forest City. Military honors were provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.

Flowers are welcomed and contributions are requested to McDowell County Chamber of Commerce LINC High School Scholarship Fund, First Baptist Church of Marion Bus Fund, or Grace Community Church Building Fund.
