Donald "Don" Gibbs, 79, of Union Mills

Donald "Don" Gibbs, 79, of Union Mills, passed away on August 23, 2018.

Donald loved the Lord and faithfully served him for 50 years. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Donald was an avid gardener. He was a member of Nealsville Church of God in Marion, NC. He retired from Broyhill after 36 years of service.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Pink and Odel Hudgins Gibbs, infant daughter Susie Gibbs and son Keith Gibbs, in addition to his four sisters and two brothers, one being his twin brother.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 57 years, Jean Epley Gibbs; sons Ronnie Gibbs and wife Teresa, and Curtis Gibbs and wife Tiffany; three grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at Nealsville Church of God in Marion, NC. Interment followed at Gilkey Church of God in Rutherfordton,
