Donald H. Fox, age 88

Donald H. Fox, age 88, of Rutherfordton, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017.

He was the son of Edgar Lincoln Fox and Margaret Ahlers Fox and a native of Jacksonville, Florida. Donald was a U.S. Army veteran WW II, member of First United Methodist Church of Rutherfordton and loved to play golf in his younger days. He was preceded in death by two brothers; John L. Fox and

David Fox.

He is survived by his wife: Joan Fox. One daughter: Diane Fox Earnest and her husband Steve. One son: Robert Fox and his wife Lori. Five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren

The Memorial service was held at the Memorial Garden of First United Methodist Church, Rutherfordton with Reverend Dr. Sydnor Thompson III officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church; Dillard Morrow Class; 264 North Main Street, Rutherfordton, NC, 28139.
