Donna Mae Carver, 72

Donna Mae Carver, 72, of Rutherfordton, passed away Monday, October 15, 2018.

Born in Philipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. Brink and Mary Dotts Brink. Donna worked as a fuel analyst for the federal government and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Rutherfordton where she was active in the Soul Food Ministry. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and was a Past Matron of Steadfast Chapter #479, Camp Hill, PA. She was affectionately known to her grandsons as "A B".

Survivors include her husband of fifty-one years, Phillip Dewey Carver of the home; a son, Phillip D. Carver (Christine) of Sylva, NC; a daughter, Jennifer R. Carver of Spindale; a brother, Robert Brink of Enola, PA and two grandsons.

A memorial service was held at the First United Methodist Church of Rutherfordton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 264 Main Street, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
