Dorothy Brown Jones, 93, of Old US 221, Rutherfordton, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2012.
A native of Mount Pisa, Virginia, she was born on May 31, 1918, a daughter of the late Bob Bron and Lina Glover Brown. She was a homemaker and member of Liberty Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, S.P. Jones, her son, William Eugene O’Neil, and one great grandchild, Kyle Fitzgerald Robinson. She is survived by her daughter, Lois Horton of Ellenboro; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sixteen great-great grandchildren,
At the request of the family, no local services will be held. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date in Delaware.
