Dorothy Green, 87

Dorothy Green, 87, of Forest City, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017.

A native of Cook County, IL, she was the daughter of the late Everette and Katherine Schultz Dunn. Dorothy was a homemaker.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Kathleen Yelton and husband Marvin and Dianne Carpenter and husband Rick Halliwill of Atlanta, GA; one granddaughter; one great grandchild; brother, Donald Dunn of Ironton, MO. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William C. Green and a grandson.

Memorial services were held at Crowe's Mortuary with Rev. Ernie Cole officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.

The family would like to extend there thanks to Willow Ridge and Hospice of Rutherford County for the excellent care given to Mrs. Green.
