Dorothy Mae Terry Willis Cox, 75, of Ellenboro, passed away Friday, November 4, 2011. A native of Cleveland County. Daughter of the late Roy C. Terry and Birdie Lucille Alexander Terry Drewery. She was a homemaker and member of Gantt’s Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Alfred Monroe Willis; one son, Lee Roy Willis; one brother, Kenneth Terry; two sisters, Joann Reid Edwards and Peggy Blanton. She is survived by two sons, Tim Willis of Shelby and Alfred Willis of Ellenboro; three daughters, Patsy Pack of Ellenboro, Frances Grooms of Shelby and Candy Willis of Shelby; three brothers, Billy Terry of Woodruff, SC, Joyce Terry of Ellenboro and Charles Terry of Forest City; fifteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Gantt’s Grove Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, POB 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
