Dorothy Peeples Shelton, age 89

Dorothy Peeples Shelton, age 89, of Lake Lure, passed away on November 28, 2019.

Dorothy was the daughter of the late Harry David Peeples Sr. and Gladys Mary Cook Peeples. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband William Jackson Sr, second husband Sidney Shelton, and a brother Jimmy Peeples.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Bill Jackson Jr. (Robin), Lyn Weaver (Michael), Ann Kolpin (Carl), Doug Jackson (Cindy), Scott Jackson (Jackie); eight grandchildren; many great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; brother Harry Peeples, sister Frances Baumgardner; In her honor a memorial service was held at Fairfield Mountain Chapel, Lake Lure.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church of your choice, to continue to spread the word of Christ.
