Dorothy Sue Ingle Seres, 80, of Rutherfordton, also a resident of Henderson Care Nursing Center, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2012.

 A native of Rutherford County, she was born on July 14, 1932, a daughter of the late Thomas Lee Ingle and Flora Brooks Overton. She retired from the Textile Industry. She attended Goodes Creek Baptist Church. She loved her family and doll collecting.

 In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Albert Seres; one son, Joseph Stephen Seres; her brothers and sisters, Homer Ingle, Douglas Ingle, Deanna Canipe, and Karis Ingle; one grandchild, Haylee Seres. She is survived by three sons, Robert Lee Bailey and wife Darlene of Michigan, Samuel Douglas Bailey and wife Gail of Forest City, and Alan Albert Seres and wife Debbie of Bostic; two daughters, Cathy Susie Ledbetter and husband Doug of Bostic and Patricia Rose Hill and husband Darren of Rutherfordton; two brothers, Livingston Ingle and wife Patricia of Forest City and Joel Ingle and wife Kim of Rutherfordton; two sisters, Patsy Anthony of Shelby and Jean Williams and husband Richard of Union Mills; her grandchildren, Sarah Koone, Brandy Barker, Casee Freshour, Peyton Riffle, Dustin Hill, Doug Ledbetter, Jr., Tammy Bennett, Angela Bailey and Tracy Dotson; nineteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel with the Dr. Cecil Lovelace, Rev. Clay Earley, and Rev. Glenn Walker. A private burial was held at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
