Edith Wise Graybeal, age 93

Edith Wise Graybeal, age 93 went home to be with the Lord October 29, 2013. 

She was the widow of Emory Lee Graybeal and the mother of the late William Lloyd Graybeal of Forest City. She was a member of Spencer Baptist Church. Edith was an avid gardener and an experienced seamstress of Doncaster Company. She loved to travel. 

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Wanda Graybeal Shytle of Troy, NC; daughter in law Marcia Graybeal of Forest City; five granddaughters, Annette Buchanan and husband Don of Shiloh, Darlene Terry and husband Larry of Hopewell, Ronda Chittister and husband Alan of Forest City, Tracy Self and husband Terry of Golden Valley, Nikki Brock and husband Kerry of Forest City; six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her husband and son, she was preceded in death by her parents William Wise and Minnie Flynn and a grandson, Eric Shytle.

Funeral service was held  at Crowe’s Mortuary with the Rev. Billy Vaughn officiating. Interment followed at Eternal Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043 for the love and care they showed Mrs. Graybeal and her family.
