Edna Pauline "Polly" Smith Bradshaw, age 82

Edna Pauline "Polly" Smith Bradshaw, age 82 of Forest City passed away Friday, November 22, 2019. Polly, as she was known was born on June 24, 1937 in Rutherford County and was the last of sixteen children born to the late Ralph A. Smith and Thelma Ball Smith.

Polly was a lifelong Baptist, a homemaker and she worked for eleven years at Walmart in Forest City. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her husband, Grover G. Bradshaw, Sr. preceded her in death in 2001.

Survivors include her sons, Grover G. Bradshaw of Ellenboro, Ricky Gray Bradshaw of Pueblo, Colorado, Lester R. Bradshaw of Bostic, daughters, Nadine Bradshaw Moore of Forest City, Teresa Lee Tipton of Forest City and Zelda Marie Martin of Mooresboro as well as sixteen grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held at Eternal Hills Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
