Eleanor Smith Rhodes, 89

Eleanor Smith Rhodes, 89, of Bostic, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015.

A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Clingman and Della Pike Smith. She was a retired seamstress and a member of M and T Ministries.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Pamela Bradley of Rutherfordton, Debbie Almond of Forest City, Joan Worley and husband Carl of Marshall, Diane Smith and husband Jeff of Bostic; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; daughter in law Loretta Rhodes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Clayton Rhodes Sr., son Jack Clayton Rhodes Jr, brother Alfred Smith and sister Lib Smith.

Funeral services were held at Crowe's Mortuary with Rev. Terry White officiating. Interment followed in Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
