Ella Mae Holland, age 78

Ella Mae Holland, age 78, of Ellenboro, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2014.

Born June 9, 1936 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter to the late H.B. Harris and Mary Louise Roberson Harris.  She worked as a caterer for over thirty years providing delicious foods for banquets and weddings. Ella also managed the Rutherfordton Club House for twenty-two years and managed the Ellenboro Senior Center at Bethel Baptist Church for nine years.

Survivors include her two sisters, Walda Franklin of Ellenboro and Glenda Green and husband, Ed of Rutherfordton and one brother, Ted Harris and wife, Debbie.

A private service will be conducted.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Rutherford County Senior Center, 193 Callahan Koon Rd, Spindale, NC 28160.
