Ella Marie Dills Biggerstaff, "Marie" age 86

Ella Marie Dills Biggerstaff, "Marie" age 86, of Dundalk, Maryland passed away on September 27, 2019. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and the many people whose lives she touched over the years.

Born January 24, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Jimmy and Maggie Vess Dills of Spindale. Marie attended Harris High School and later received her GED. She was a seamstress in the clothing industry, notably working for Head Ski Sportswear during the company's formative years in the 1970's. She enjoyed travelling, loved crafts and puzzles and was a member of First Baptist Church of Essex Maryland.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Gene T. Biggerstaff; her son, Steven E. Biggerstaff; four brothers, James Dills, Lloyd Dills, Vernon Dills, Buddy Dills; and three sisters, Janelle Ruppe, Hathleen Couch, and Reba Biggerstaff.

Marie had a deep love for her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are her son Marion E. Biggerstaff and wife Debbie of Severn Maryland; daughter-in-law Barbara Biggerstaff-Gibson; two grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; and one sister, Ruby Strader and husband Wayne of Spindale.

Funeral Services were held at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Interment followed in Holly Springs Baptist Cemetery.
