Ellen Denise Long Petty, age 60

Ellen Denise Long Petty, age 60, of Inman, SC went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday, June 6, 2017.

A native of Rutherford County, Ellen was a retired seamstress and a faithful member of Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband Otis Petty; two brothers - Mike Long and his wife Judy, Bart Long; father-in-law J.L. Petty; brother-in-law Barry Petty and wife Cindy; sister-in-law Sherra Harrison and husband Ray; and fur babies - Angel, Presley, and Sophia. Ellen is also survived by numerous friends and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents Horace and Doris Edwards Long, one sister Patricia Long Ledford and a nephew Al Ledford.

Funeral services were held at Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church with Rev. Karl Kelly and Rev. Dennis Tomlinson officiating. Concluding services were held in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church 2869 Hudlow Road, Forest City, NC 28043.
