Eunice Mise Sisk, age 93

Eunice Mise Sisk, age 93, of Bostic, passed away, Sunday, January 17, 2016.

A native of Catawba County, she was a daughter of the late Oscar Mise and Sally Horn Mise. She was a Registered Nurse who graduated from Grace Hospital School of Nursing. She was the operating room supervisor and retired from Broughton Hospital after 34 and a half years. Following retirement she worked for Rutherford Hospital. She was a member of the Trinity Wesleyan Church where she was the secretary/treasurer for over 30 years, taught children's Sunday School and Bible School, and was active in the Women's Missionary Society. Eunice enjoyed baking, needle working, and puzzles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Sisk in 2014.

Survivors include two daughters, Jo Ann Sisk Shepherd and her husband Doug of Morganton, Carolyn Sisk Richardson and her husband Roy of Candler, NC, four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Eunice was especially grateful for several special people who provided support to her.

Funeral services were held at the Trinity Wesleyan Church with the Reverend Larry Segers officiating. Interment followed in the Eternal Hills Memorial Park. The Padgett and King Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
