Evelyn Mae Lewis Butler age 87 of Bostic, went to be with The Lord on Sunday October 8, 2017.
Born in Rutherford County, Evelyn was a seamstress and a minister with The Church of God.
She is preceded in death by her husband Leroy Bostic Butler, her mother, Ruth Lewis Hutchins, one daughter Wanda Flynn, one step granddaughter, one half- brother Jimmy Hutchins and one half- sister Hazel Turner.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Steve Butler and wife Cathy; Cecil Perry Butler, Sr. and wife Sherry, two half-brothers Roy and Billy Hutchins, four half-sisters Jessie Flowe, Margaret Jackson, Mildred Ridings and Dorothy Elliott, one grandson, two step grandsons, and four great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at Crowe's Funeral Chapel with Rev. William Alley officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills P.O. Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043. Crowe's Mortuary is assisting the family.
