Evelyn Moore, Oates, 83, of Shiloh passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2011. Services were held at Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Oates was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Alton Lail; her second husband, Ray Leonard Oates; her parents, Samuel Perry Moore and Laura Bowen Moore.
She is survived by on son, Don Lail; three grandsons; five great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011 or to Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church, 2869 Hudlow Rd., Forest City, NC.
