Flora Mae Armachain, age 52

Flora Mae Armachain, age 52, of Rutherfordton, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020.

Flora was born March 25, 1967 in Polk County to the late William Henry Armachain and Ruby Hensley. Flora was of American Indian heritage and a proud member of the Cherokee Tribe. She enjoyed drawing all types of artwork.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Jodi Nelon and a brother, Billy Armachain.

Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Jessica Nelon of Rutherfordton and Heather Nelon of Forest City; three sisters, Wilma Hensley of Green Creek, Janet Hutchins (Tommy) of Spindale and Henrietta Armachain of Cherokee, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted at the Full Gospel Revival Church of Rutherfordton. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
