Flossie C. Harmon, age 87

Flossie C. Harmon, age 87, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016.

Born February 1, 1929 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter to the late Broadus Cash and Rhode Self Cash. Flossie was a graduate of Cliffside High School, class of 1947 and worked for Cone Mills-Cliffside Plant for many years. She was a member of Floyd's Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed reading and sewing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Geneva Hogan and Hazel Hogan.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-six years, Alfred Harmon; one son, Phillip Harmon of Cliffside; four grandchildren.

A funeral service was conducted at Floyd's Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Robert Carnell officiating. Interment followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
