Floyd Lyle Chittister 84 of Rutherfordton passed away on March 11, 2019.
He was a native of Jefferson Pennsylvania.
Floyd was a retired tool and die maker. He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Mary Chittister and a daughter Becky Marie Holland. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of sixty five years Donna Louise Weber Chittister, of the home; daughter Darlene Joy Reep and husband Kelly of Lincolnton, a son Lee Alan Chittister and wife Ronda of Rutherfordton, a daughter Barbara Thrower and husband Clifford of Bostic; 3 grandchildren, also a great grandchild.
A memorial service was held at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Bostic. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The American Diabetes Association, PO Box 15829 Arlington, VA 22215.
Crowe's Mortuary and Crematory is serving the family.
