Food Collections Set For Saturday, October 23 To Help Communities In Schools Of Rutherford County

   This year, Week of Caring volunteers are asked to take one more step to help those in need in our county.  Communities in Schools sends back-packs of food home each Friday with needy students who don’t get enough to eat on weekends.

  Saturday, October 23, drop off locations: Cliffside Elementary or Chase Middle School between 8am & 11am, R-S Middle School between 8am & 1:30pm & at Spindale Elementary during regular school hours.

Individual boxes of cereal
Granola bars (without nuts)
Ravioli or Spaghetti-O’s (single serve)
Small Chef Boyardee meals
Vienna sausage • Ramen noodles
Juice boxes (mixed) • Pop Tarts
Fruit cups (in single servings)
Applesauce (in single servings)
Pudding cups (mixed)
Raisins (mini- packages)
Individual packs of crackers
Individual packs of cookies
Small packets of pretzels
Individual Mac N Cheese
