Food donated to more than 200 people

Chase Corner Ministries, United Way of Rutherford County and New Bethel AME Zion Church hosted a COVID-19 relief event last Friday at the church in Forest City. Second Harvest Food provided the donations of USDA food serving more than 200 families. Shown above, in a photo by WLOS-TV staff, shows the amount of donations given away. Those attending, who were eligible, had an opportunity to receive assistance on utility bills.
