Forrest Hunt first elementary school to offer Junior Beta Club

Fourth and fifth grade students with an overall B average may now join the Junior Beta Club at Forrest Hunt Elementary. The club is the first at the elementary level in Rutherford County Schools. During the club's first meeting, Club Advisor Cheryl Davis told students they were in the room for a reason, and that they were to be good examples for other students and follow the club's motto of let us lead by serving others. To continue in the club, students must have a B average or above every six weeks. The service club will allow students an opportunity for service and community projects as well as taking part in competitions during the state Junior Beta conference in February. The 43 members of the club are: Layla Campbell, Kali Dogget, Taylor Barker, Kaylan Lynch, Jack McBrayer, Zach Nix, Lillian Sisk, Jenna Roberson, Shawn Ridings, Azlyn Silvers, Roselyn Enriquez, Savannah Breeden, Addison Arrowood, Jayden Conner, Abril Dela Cruz, Damian Goodnight, Madyson Roland, Riekaylah Haynes, Alejandrao Arredondo, Alexia Littlejohn, Abagail Norris, Aydon Roland, Brock Duncan, Cianna Littlejohn, Delfina Sebastian, Devon Baker, Isaac Rollins, Jackson Gibson, Jaylin Hines, Kacey Ruppe, Kayleigh Stanley, Kaymyn Dewberry, Khaliah Rankins, Kya Wilson, Kyle Morrow, Logan Greene, Makiya Stroud, Maritsa Sanchez, Mikayla Elliott, Parker Emery, Robert Morgan, Samaria Littlejohn, Sara Jenkins, Skyland Hoyle, Summer Smith and Zhamori Thomas.
