Frances Johnson Bailey, age 85

Frances Johnson Bailey, age 85, of Columbus, NC, passed away September 29, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Thomas J. Johnson & Mae Guffey Johnson & native of Rutherford County. She was first married to the late Memory Heaton. She later married the late William "Bill" Bailey & moved to Morganton. Frances was a lifelong member of Oak Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Lucy Vickers & Ira Briscoe Adkins. She is survived by: two nieces Crystal B. Holbert of Tryon. Jody Owens of Rutherfordton. 2 Step-sons: Harold Bailey of Hickory. Rodger Bailey of Morganton. The Funeral was held at Oak Springs Baptist Church. Interment was held at Oak Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. McMahan's Funeral Home is serving the family.
