Frances M. Houser, 82

Frances M. Houser, 82, of Shelby passed away Wednesday June 21, 2017.

A native of Rutherford county, she was the daughter of the late George Fate and Susan Elaine Byers McMurray. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Shelby and a member of The Red Hats Society. She was very active and volunteered at Neal Senior Center, she loved animals and gardening. The family would like to give special thanks to the Neal Senior Center in Shelby for all the love and support that was given during the time she needed them most.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Houser; one brother, James Harold McMurray and one nephew, Ricky Cromer.

She is survived by only one niece, Vicky Jones; five nephews, Larry McMurray, Joey Houser, Chris Houser, Terry Houser, II, and Jeff Houser; many great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held in the chapel of Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside. Rev. Tony Tench. Interment held in the Cliffside Cemetery.
