Frances Moore Taylor, age 91

Frances Moore Taylor, age 91 of Forest City, NC, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015.

She was born September 7, 1923 in Lexington, NC and was a daughter of the late John and Pearl Moore.  Frances was a homemaker and a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Forest City and the Love Circle Sunday School Class.  She was preceded in death by her husband, A. Carlton Taylor, Sr.

Surviving are her sons, A. C. Taylor Jr. and wife Jaymie of Milledgeville, GA, Larry Taylor and Steve Taylor both of Charlotte, her daughters, Carolyn Porter of Charlotte and Nancy Abel of High Point.  There are four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild as well as a number of Nieces, Nephews, and a group of longtime close neighbors and friends.

The funeral was held at First Baptist Church with Reverend J. Anthony Spencer officiating.  Interment followed in the Eternal Hills Memorial Park.  The family respectfully request that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church, 211West Main Street, Forest City, NC 28043 or Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
