Francis Pauline Crowder Thornton, age 62

Francis Pauline Crowder Thornton, age 62, of Mill Springs, passed away Friday, July 18, 2014.

Born March 23, 1952 in Polk County, she was the daughter of the late Robert “Bob” Crowder & Lanie Lawter Crowder. She worked in textiles for several years, and was a CNA & pulp wood cutter for many years. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Junior & Charles Crowder & two infant children, Johnny & Juanita Thornton.

Survivors include her nephew, Ricky Williams & wife, Kim; 2 nieces, Vickie Williams & Anita Crowder McMillian all of Mill Springs; sister in-law, Sandra Edwards also of Mill Springs. She is survived by eight great-nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was conducted at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Larry McKee, Reverend Todd Lawter & Reverend Warren Elliott officiating
