Fred Michael Greene "Mike" 67

Fred Michael Greene "Mike" 67, of Rutherfordton passed away on March 22, 2018.

He was the son of the late Fred Bobo Greene and Margaret Ann Beaver Greene. Mike had a passion for golf, UNC, fishing and family especially his grandchildren. He served in the United States Army and was retired from PPG.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Judia Greene, son Chad Greene of Charlotte and a daughter Jennifer Limerick (Jonathan) of Cullman, Alabama, brothers Ricky Greene of Mooresboro and Danny Greene of Dallas, NC, stepchildren Wendy Weaver (Chuck) of Columbia, SC, Natalie Moore (Philip) of Chesnee, SC and Tracie Hill of Spindale, five grandchildren, five step grandchildren. Mike also leaves behind his dog Lillie who he adored and a special mother in law Bea Proctor. Along with his parents Mike was proceeded in death by his daughters Lisa Greene and Heather Greene.

A funeral service was conducted at Piney Knob Baptist Church, Rutherfordton. Rev. Mike Brown officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Cullman County Bosom Buddies Foundation, PO Box 123 Vinemont, Alabama, 35179.
