Gail J. Skipper, age 72

Gail J. Skipper, age 72, of Greenville, SC, passed away Monday, January 4, 2016.

Gail was a native of Rutherford County and daughter of the late Robert and Mae Williams Jones. She was a registered nurse and worked in health care for many years. She was preceded in death by one brother Jerry Melton Jones.

She is survived by one Daughter:Tracey S. Pires and her husband John Pires of Greenville, SC. Two Sisters: Marion Shuster of Franklin, NC and Jennifer Cook of Bath, NC. Two Brothers: Steve Jones of Concord, NC and Stanley Jones of Columbia, SC. Four Grandchildren.

The Graveside service was held at Chimney Rock Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Dean Baughn officiating. Interment followed at Chimney Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Chimney Rock Baptist Church; PO Box 157; Lake Lure, NC 28746.
