Gaines Marshall Arrowood, age 75

Gaines Marshall Arrowood, age 75, of Rutherfordton, passed away Friday, April 20, 2018.

He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late Cleveland Berry Arrowood and the late Willie Sue Hall Arrowood. Gaines was a kind, generous, loving Christian man who loved the Lord. He was preceded in death by one brother Talmadge Arrowood and on sister Margie Jolley.

He is survived by his wife: Shirley Laughter Arrowood. One Sister: Betty Thomason. One Brother: Asa Arrowood and wife Peggy. One Brother in Law: Ralph Laughter and wife Mildred. One Sister in Law: Dorothy Wright. Nieces, nephews and special friends.

The funeral service was held at Shingle Hollow Congregational Holiness Church. Rev Jack Crain and Rev Leon Brown officiated.

Interment will be held at Nealsville Church of God Cemetery, Marion.
