Gary C. Seigler, age 81

Gary C. Seigler, age 81, of Charlotte, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018.

Gary was born January 19, 1937 in Rutherford County, to the late Frank Hawkins and Flossie Blackwell Hawkins. He was a graduate of Tri-High School, class of 1955 and served his country in the U.S. Navy for twenty-two years. After his retirement from the Navy, he worked for General Electric for twenty-one years as a field service representative. He was an animal lover and enjoyed working on crossword puzzles and tinkering with electronics.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of forty-four years, Helene Y. Seigler.

Those left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Christine Seigler Brunelle (Shawn) of Charlotte and Sandra Seigler also of Charlotte; sister, Linda Seigler Sweeney (Joe) of Indian Land, SC and a grandson.

A graveside service was conducted at the Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. Military honors were rendered by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
