Gary Francis Martin, 75

Gary Francis Martin, 75, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013. 

A native of Green Bay, WI Gary was the son of the late Walter Hansel and Adaline Sidney Bray Martin. Gary was a retired Chief Machinery Repairman in the US Navy, also serving in Antarctica. After his Navy service, he taught school in Jacksonville, FL.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Ann Dieckmann Martin of the home; children Christopher Martin and wife Carlita of Jacksonville Beach, FL, Nicholas Martin of Topsham, ME, Cynthia Newberry and husband Bob of Rutherfordton, NC and Allison Sharp and husband Scott of Huntersville, NC; seven grandchildren.

Memorial Service was held at Green Hill Baptist Church.
