Georgia Lee Epley, age 83

Georgia Lee Epley, age 83, of Forest City, passed away Friday, November 30, 2018.

Georgia was born February 21, 1935 in Spartanburg County, SC, and was a daughter of the late Carmie Leander Lane and Mary Miller Lane. She worked for Pepsi Cola for many years and for A & E Plastics before retirement. She and her husband co-owned and operated E & H Honda Motorcycle and Sales, where she enjoyed greeting and helping customers. She was a member of Henrietta First Baptist Church and enjoyed travelling, reading and having conversations with others. She was always young at heart and loved adventures such as riding all the rollercoasters at Carowinds. She was faithful to her family, her friends and her church. Georgia's world circled around her family and especially her grandkids and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Margaret Parrot Lane; daughter, Malinda Hoyle; four brothers, William Lane, Charles Lane, Gilford Lane and an infant twin brother, Jesse Lane; two grandsons. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of sixty-seven years, "Paw Paw" Bill Epley; daughter, Susan Callahan Ledford and husband, Mitch of Forest City and son, Howard Epley and wife, Lisa also of Forest City; nine grandchildren, and twenty-four great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted at Henrietta First Baptist Church. A graveside service was held at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
