Gilmer Bradley, age 87

Gilmer Bradley, age 87, of Mill Spring passed away Monday June 18, 2018.

Gilmer was a native of Polk County, widow of the late Nannie Sue Bradley and son of the late Holbert Green and Dalia Bradley. In addition to his wife and parents Gilmer was preceded in death by a son Gilmer Jr., brothers George and David Bradley and sisters Annie Belle Liese and Geneva Nelon. Gilmer was a retired spinning fixer in the textile industry.

Farming was Gilmer's passion he loved working the land with his Massey Ferguson tractor while his dog Cricket accompanied him.

Left to cherish his memory are his son Clifford Bradley and wife Donna; brother Bennie Greene and wife Kathleen, 3 sisters Alice Bailey, Lizzie Hudgins and Mary Broadwater; one granddaughter, two great grandchildren, one grandson and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Big Level Baptist Church. Rev. Warren Elliott officiated. Burial was held in the church cemetery.

Crowe's Mortuary is assisting the family.
