Girl Scouts make care packages for R-S Middle

Girl Scout Senior Troop 01891 of Rutherfordton recently collected items and donated more than 200 care packages to R-S Middle. Each care package consisted of a feminine hygiene wipe and pad. Parents and girl students were informed with a letter and pamphlet instructing the students on how to discreetly ask the teacher for a "CP" (care package envelope) when needed. This Sisterhood Journey project was developed by the girls when the discovered that there was not anything for girls in need.
