Giving the gift of life

David Eaker rolled up his sleeve to donate blood on Dec. 3 during an American Red Cross Blood Drive on the campus of Isothermal Community College. According to an ARC representative, type O blood is always needed, as well as types A- and B-. If you’d like to donate blood, drives will be held on the following dates and locations: Dec. 19 - Harris Elementary, 1 to 5 p.m.; Dec. 20 - Cliffside Masonic Lodge, 7:30 a.m. to noon.
