Glenn F. Cash, age 76

Glenn F. Cash, age 76, of Forest City, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 20.

Glenn served in the Army Reserves and the National Guard for nineteen years and worked as an electrician for Young’s Electric Service for over thirty years. He was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church.  Glenn enjoyed fishing and NASCAR. He was also a Grand National Mechanic on the racing circuit.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Cash.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-six years, Martha Cash; son Marshall Cash and wife, Jan of Atkins, Virginia; brother, Ray Cash and wife, Jane of Morganton, NC and grandson, Tyler Gene Bradley of Polk County.

A graveside service was conducted at Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Wayne Toney officiating.
