Glenn "G.T." Wells, age 87

Glenn "G.T." Wells, age 87, of Henrietta, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018.

Born April 25, 1930 in Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Glenn Thomas Wells, Sr. and Margaret Lowery Wells. G.T. worked for Wells Body Shop most of his life and for Burlington Industries before retirement. He was a member of the Henrietta Revival Center and served the Lord as an Evangelist. G.T. also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a man of deep faith and love for his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Bobby Wells; a sister, Betty Mollahan; son-in-law, Ray Morrow and one grandson, and great-grandson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of sixty-nine years, Odessa Willis Wells; four daughters, Glenda McGuire and husband, John of Forest City, Shelia Wells Gerringer of Henrietta, Debbie Morrow of Harris and Gail Adair and husband, Mike of Forest City and one sister, Rueleen Wease of Henrietta. Nine grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren also survive him.

The funeral service was conducted at the Henrietta First Baptist Church. Rev Gene Crain officiated. Interment followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
